Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) has been a significant point of discussion ever since its reveal in 2020. After learning more about it, I understood what all the hype was about and became excited for more game developers to start building their games on this incredible game engine.
In this post, I will introduce UE5 and explain why most game developers jump on the UE5 train.
What is Unreal Engine 5?
Unreal Engine 5 is a game development engine created by Epic Games. It is a collection of software tools and technologies that game developers can use to create and develop video games.
The engine is built on a foundation of C++ programming language. It provides game developers with a wide range of features and tools, such as a visual scripting system, physics engine, animation tools, and a robust rendering engine that can handle high-quality graphics and visual effects.
Unreal Engine 5 also includes a built-in level editor called the Unreal Editor, which allows developers to create, test, and refine their game levels and environments.
