Can Joomla Be a Better Alternative to WordPress for Freelance Bloggers?

Many freelance writers said that WordPress is expensive for them and they couldn’t justify the cost to hos their blogs there. They asked me whether there are better options. The first thing coming to my mind was Joomla.

The first article is titled How to Create a Blog Site Using Joomla and Grow Your Audience as a Freelance Writer. It is a step-by-step guide. I also published it on Medium for my followers.

I am also YouTuber and rebranded Illumination’s community channel as Substack Mastery to support our strategic directions. I made a short video about it inviting all freelance writers to join our journey for free.

I am now focusing more on Substack as I find it much more rewarding the Medium. But I still enjoy Medium by writing there, running my gaming and videos/podcast publications, and also curating amazing stories daily. I also launched a new website for gamers and soon will invite them as guest bloggers.
